This campaign was started by a littlo pamphlet boing issued, is-sued, entitled, "An Appeal to Architects Archi-tects and Builders." Tho letter to Mr. Bono suggests that if it is possible tho New York socioty would be glad to htivo tho looal department de-partment make pnblic tho Information contained in tho pamphlet and thus help cducnto tho people. tTho local department de-partment has not tho means of publishing publish-ing a bulletin, however, nnd Mr. Done, therefore, cails m the newspapers of Salt Lake to assist him in bringing the matter to public attention. Mr. Done also rcccivod a postal from Colonel Squires Saturday, stating that he will leave tho coast for home Sunday Sun-day evening. This will bring him to Salt Lako about Monday night. Colonel Squires is much improved in. health, sinco his recent illness. Mr. Done said Saturday that all the certificates to companios doing business in the stato, and thoir agents, have beon issued for the year, and tho annual an-nual roport of tho department is now m the publisher hands. |
