Show 'MORE VOTING MACHINES Joint Order Placed by the City and County. Six more voting machines are to be ordered at once, lo be paid for Jointly by the city and county of Salt Lake. A meeting waB held Thursday morning, attended at-tended by Mayor Thompson and Coun-cllmen Coun-cllmen Black and Crabtree of the special Council committee on voting machines, ma-chines, and tho County Commissioners, at which County Clork Eldredgo "reported that the checking of the new election districts dlsclcraos tho fact that In some of the districts the number of voters will roach about 1000, and that ono machine ma-chine will not bo sufficient for these large districts. The machines will be of the United Slates Standard make, tho samo as those originally purchased. |
