Show PRISONERS ESCAPE Deputy Sheriff of Sheridan County, Wyo., Grow Careless. Special to The Tribune. LARAMIE, Wyo., July 26. Two prisoners prison-ers from Sheridan county, convicted of breaking Into a box car ou the Burlington road and stealing a large amount of merchandise, mer-chandise, sentenced to two and a half years each In the pen, escaped from ShorifT O. J. Smytho of that county this mornlns, near this city, while he was en route to Rawlins. Tho men were shackled together nnd tho Sheriff and his deputy did not know when they left tho train. Tho discovery was made aftor the train had arrived In Rawlins, whon the deputy wont to the berth to awakon them. Smythe has offered a reward of 525 for the recapture of tho men. Ho did not even know thoir names. Smythe left tho train hero, leavlug tho prisoners In charge of his deputy and a deputy from Big Horn county, who was on the eamo train with two prisoners.
