The second story, "Braaenhead the Great," Is placed In England; time, i he wars of the Roses; and as disgraceful a ruffian as the books tell of is the hero, though he was lru to the one fealty and that of ;i joyous lad who was the Victim of a lender passion. The third Story. "BucndeliQonto's Saga." is laid In Florence, Paly, and is replete with tho savagery, treachery, ami d splcabb" villainy vil-lainy of the times before Dunte; a brilliant bril-liant picture it Is of that time, splbndldly drawn, and vlvbl In lis beauty The fourth. "The Love Chase," is a story of Padua, of Lombnrdy. a tale of distress and of bliss, with plotting and rascalities rascali-ties tOO many for a Christian folk, such us all the land professed to he.
