Butte City Council Cannot Celebrate Injunction Secured by Socialists Preventing Pre-venting Appropriation for Fourth of July Celebration. Special to The Tribune. BUTTE. Mont.. June 23. Attorney Jesse 'B. Roote, now with Hcinze people, acting for Socialists, has secured an Injunction against the City Council of Butte restraining that body from appropriating $1000 for a Fourth of July celebration. The money was to have been expended for Meahcr and Philippine memorial funds and the decoration of the City hall with a number num-ber of American flags and bunting. The Socialists maintain that the street car company should meet all the expenses Incident to a celebration.
