Show JURY FAILS TO AGREE ' IN THE DONALDSON CASE Special to Tho Tribune. PROVO. June 23. The jury In the Donaldson case failed to agree, and vos disr-harged. Donaldson was charged with breaking open a freight car on the Rio Grande "Western, railway and stealing steal-ing a keg of whisky, Donaldson was a brakeman on the road. He- was released on $200 bond. The Elks' cafe, which was closed by Sheriff Harmon a few days ago, will be reopened under the management of Charles Moore of this city. A general overhauling and refurnishing Is now under way. Mrs. Helen Savage and her daughter Emma have returned to their home In Provo. They have been residing in Salt Lake for the past four years. Mies Savage Sav-age has been attending the University and ha9 been employed to teach In the Provo schools during the coining year. c It has been decided to celebrate the Fourth of July. A general committee, composed of three members irom each ward, has been appointed as follows: First ward J. T. Farrer, S. S. Jones and Mr9. R. A. Barney. Second ward W. D. -Roberts, Jr., James Clove and Mrs. Hannah Tucker. Third ward S. P. Eggertsen, J. E. Batt and Mrs. E. V. Vincent. Fourth ward T. N. Taylor, J. II. Frlsby and Mrs. Newell Knight Fifth ward E. S. Hinckley. M. M. Kellogg and Mrs. Louisa McBrlde. The committee is to meet Friday even Ing at 8 o'clock In the city hall to appoint ap-point other committees and make proper arrangements. o The following have received permits to wed: Simon Nelson, age 69, of Spanish Fork, and Liza Tompson, age CI, of Lake Shore; Oliver Davis, age 21, and Sarah Harding, age 22, both of Provo. The Vv. T. Sherman post of the G. A. it. at rovo expresses mucn satisiaction over the loyal welcome received at Park City. The Sioux Indian baseball club will play the local nne here on Monday, June 27. ' ' Tho Cluff family reunion will be held at the Provo Lake resort tomorrow. About 600 members are expected to be present There will be fishing, bathing and juvenile sport until 10 o'clock. At 12 o'clock tho family and Invited guests will dine, with H, H. Cluff as master of ceremonies. Father Cluff will be represented repre-sented by Foster Cluff, and Mother Cluff by Emily G. Cluff. The toast, "The original thirteen, twelve sons and one daughter," will be responded to by Harvey Cluff; "Our Mother," by Thad Cluff. At 3 o'clock Father duffs favorite hymn will be sung, followed by prayer by tho chaplain, a piano solo by Aline Cluff, tho president's address by "William "Wil-liam "W. Cluff, a song- by Henry Cluff and family, a recitation by George Cluff. instrumental music, Eugene and Leonard Cluff, a duet by Fern and Flora Cluff and a quartette by Eugene, Leon, Leonard Cluff and Bert Lewis. County Attorney Page and his companions com-panions have returned from their fishing fish-ing trip to Strawberry. They report a big catch.
