Show BLACK HAWK VETERANS MEET IN SANPETE COUNTY Special to The Tribune. MANTI, Utah, June 23. Ncphl Rob-ertsen Rob-ertsen of Fort Green, a member of the executive committee of Black Hawk war veterans, is here to arrange for a great camp lire to be held In August1, either at Mt. Pleasant or Mantl. The Commercial club has decided to furnish to the visitors, with the consent con-sent of the County Commissioners, tho county block, the most ideal sppt in Sanpete, which, with Its shady nooks, still leaves plenty of room for tenting and also to secure tho railroad block immediately west for skirmish grounds. The Tomple City band will furnish music and the large pavilion will be used for evening exercises. Company F, National Guard of Utah, through Capt. Kammerman, offers to participate with the veterans during the three-days' encampment, in any of tho military tactics they may designate. desig-nate. Camp fire fuel and hay for tho horses will be furnished. Manti Is where the great Black Hawk war began, in tho early 'COs. The executive committee meets In Mt. Pleasant Saturday next, to decide where to hold the reunion. |
