Show ARBITRATION BOARD SUBMITS ITS REPORT Defines a Sub-Foreman and Tells What Should Bo Considered Overtime. THE arbltratoin committee has submitted sub-mitted its report in the dispute between the telephone company and the linemen who went on strike. In Its report it undertakes to define some of the disputed points which led to the strike. A sub-foreman Is found to be anybody who receives orders, is held responsible for the lime of the men and gives an account of materials ma-terials used. In regard to overtime it Is decided that men should work till C:30 o'clock 6o complete any work, but that other overtime should be paid for at the rate of time and a half. Men going Into the country from the city are to have their expenses paid for less than four days, but If absent for a longer period are to pay,their own expenses. ex-penses. The report of the arbitration committee Is said to be quite satisfactory satisfac-tory to the company. |
