Show two thousand every day ! Output of tho Bamberger Mines Fine Ores Coming- From New Territory. Louie Werthelmer of De Lamar, Nov., who: came In from that camp. of gold yesterday morning, says that under the siiperlntcndency of Frank P. Swindler Swin-dler conditions under ground and at, the mill at Bamberger's mines are reminiscent rem-iniscent of a period when they were De La Mar. From Hog Pen ground a fine tonnage of excellent milling ore is now being sloped,, while the work in new territory is being prosecuted with most gratifying results. Indeed, the condition throughout Is better than at any period in several years, while 100 tons of ore are now passing through the crushers. At mines and mill about 245 persons are being employed at present pres-ent and tho management has every reason rea-son to be pleased with the outlook. Indeed, the earnings are exceeding S2000 a day and that this will bo materially ma-terially increased in short time everything every-thing at present foretells. Mr. Werthelmer, Wert-helmer, who is among the leading merchants mer-chants of the camp, will remain in town several days with old friends making his sojourn a pleasant one. |
