Show HOLMES WILL IMPROVE THE KNUTSFORD HOTEL G. S. Holmes, proprietor of the Kr.utsford, who recently sold' the Ange-lus Ange-lus in Los Angeles. l9 expected to arrive home shortly, when he will devote all his time to the management of the local hotel. Already a force of men !s at work renovating the interior of the oillce and repairing and repainting repaint-ing all over the housr;. It will make quite an Improvement. But in perfecting his Salt ' Lake hostelry Mr. Holmes has many additional addi-tional plans which he may put in operation ope-ration this season. He is eager to have a big addition built, and also to change the hotel to the European as well as American plan. This would be to meet a growing demand for this class of hotel. A new and well arranged cafe would have to be established on the State street side of the house, and other alterations made. While these plans have not matured as yet, the proprietor has them In contemplation, and the change may be ordered any time. Such matters as building additions to the hotel would have to be passed upon by the Eastern owners. |
