Show I Big Reward for Capture Dynamiters WeBtern Federation of Miners Will Pay S5000 for Capture of the Murderers. DENVER, Colo., June 7. In the convention con-vention of the, Western Federation Federa-tion of Miners this afternoon a resolution condemning thc "nefarious "ne-farious dynamiting plot" which sent fifteen miners to their death and seriously seri-ously Injured a number of others at Independence, In-dependence, Colo., Monday, was adopted unanimously by the convention. A reward re-ward of 55000 Is offered by the Federation Federa-tion for the capture of the perpetrators of the outrage. Vice-President J. C. Williams and Secretary-Treasurer William D. Haywood Hay-wood were today re-elected to their former position?. Owing to the absence of President Charles H. Moyer, no nominations were made for the office of president, the constitution providing that the president of the Federation shall be In attendance when a vote on the nominee for the office Is taken. M. W. Moore of McCabe, Ariz., was eected a member of the executive board from the First district, and L. J. Simp-kins Simp-kins of Wardner, Ida , a member from the Second district. The other officers of the Federation will be elected tomorrow, and final adjournment will probably be reached. |
