Show Shaw Calls on the World's Fair Gives Formal Notico That Payments on tho Government Loan Must Be Promptly Paid. ST. LOUIS, Juno 7. In a letter received re-ceived by the exposition company today, Loslle M Shaw, Secretary of the Treasury, gavo formal notification notifica-tion that If payments on tho HCOO.000 Government Gov-ernment loan arc not promptly forthcoming forthcom-ing when due, he, as tho guardian of thc United States treasury, will take charge of' tho receipts and collection of fair tickets. The letter formally reminds thc exposition exposi-tion company of the date for tho payment of thc first Installment of tho loan, and Incloses a copy of the rules governing the loan and repayment. Prosldont Francis, discussing Secrotary Shaw's letter, says: "The first payment to the United States Government by tho World's Fair company on the Federal loan of Sl.GOO.OOO will be made promptly on June 15, as the law authorizing tho loan provides, and every cent of the mqulrcd amount will be paid without the pllghte.it difficulty.
