Show NOTHING CAN STOP REDiVIVUS AT ALTA The famous camp of Alia Is again attracting at-tracting the attention of tho mining world, not because of any iqllatcd boom now on foot, but because of really substantial sub-stantial work being dono there and tho satisfactory roaults being obtained therefrom, there-from, says the resident correspondent of the Mining World. Tho reawakening of Alta comes almost a decade after the first boom flattened out. and is primarily duo to the efforts of Tony Jacobson and brothers, broth-ers, aided by Clarence McCornlck. and to Henry M. Crowlher and associates, who later were attracted to the canm and began be-gan work there. Mr. Jacobson had worked In tho camp during Its early active days, and always had faith in It. but tho opportunity lo put this faith to tho test did not come till about four years ago. The work of these two gentlemen and their associates has boon an incontlvo to others to tako up and develop properties thnro. and as a result the camp may now bo looked upon as one of the coming solid mining districts of Utah. |
