Show THE REVENUE MIMES AND A NEW MILL A correspondent of the Mining World, Chicago, discussing the Mon-lana-Rovenue mines at Morris, Mon., and of which Hon. C. G. Parsons and Samuel Newhouse have long exercised control, says It is undoubtedly the most attractive property in that Northern camp. Sufficient development work has been done to make it a mine and ore blocked out to warrant the erection of a mill. In pursuing the development develop-ment ore running In values from fGO to $100 has been shipped to the smelter. The ore, however, is all amenable to the cyanide treatment, and hereafter will all be treated by this process. The oro now on the dumps will average $11 per ton In value. There are two shafts on the property, one-down 100 feet and the other 300 feet. The latter Is the newer and crosscut cross-cut of seventy-llvo feet was required to tap the vein, which has been followed fol-lowed for 300 feet, the width of which has been shown to vary from six to sixty-five feet. A now cyanldo mill of sexenly-flve Ions' capacity Is under construction, the work being In charge of builder Daniel Sherinun. A crushing plant complete has been built which can easily crush enough ore for a much larger plant. |
