In keeping with the size and beauty of their handsome hand-some State building at the "World's fair, the Massachusetts commissioners commis-sioners have fitted out the interior with the most elaborate decorations and furnishings, fur-nishings, making it one of the hund-3omest hund-3omest palaces on the Plateau of States. To harmonize with the- style of architecture, archi-tecture, the furniture Is all of the Colonial Colo-nial pattern. In the historical hall there Is a richly Inlaid mahogany cabinet and a large, heavily carved mahogany table ta-ble with Inlaid and leather-upholstered chairs to match Rare tapestries and priceless oil paintings give lo the walls and windows an added olTect of splendor. splen-dor. An ovnl tabic of Colonial design in caryed mahogany occupies a placo in the center of the ntfurtmcnt. while at a big double window is a luxurious leather-covered davenport. Corners of the room have great rockers and easy chairs to mateh, and a desk in crotched mahogany has. a cozy place near a Eouth window. The large dining-room is furnished complete in mahognny and Includes a buffet, two clnna cabinets, a twelve-foot twelve-foot table and leather-covered chairs to match. A smaller dining-room Is also furnished In the same wood, but on a smaller wcalc.
