Show Court Notes. Two decrees of divorce were granted by Judge Hall yesterday. William Big-ley Big-ley was released from Llllio Blgley on the ground of desertion and Adella from William A. Sloan on the ground of desertion de-sertion and non-support. The Blgleys wero married in Salt Lake and the Sloans In Nephl. Tho hearing on the motion to refer tho case of Salt Lake City et nl. vs. tho Salt Lake City Water and Electrical company to Commissioner J. Fewson Smith was postponed by Judge Morse until Saturday, May 21. Judgo Morco overruled a motion by tho attorney for J. T. Green to quash the Indictment charging the obtaining of money by false pretenses. Tho defendant de-fendant then entered a plea of not guilty, guil-ty, and will be tried on Juno 10. Mrn. Maltio Brown has filed a petition peti-tion in probato for appointment as guardian of her minor son. Homer William Wil-liam Brown, who has inherited property prop-erty worth 31000. The lact will and testament of August Au-gust Llnd, who died May 5, 1904, was presented for probate yesterday by Oscar Os-car E. Lawrence, the executor. The decedont left personal property valued at S3000 to his two sisters, and some mining stock In Summit county properties, prop-erties, the value of which la unknown. The Utah Light and Railway company, com-pany, In answer to the complaint of Percy L. Prothero, claiming J1000 as a reward for furnishing information which led to the arrest and conviction of James Shockley for tho murder of two r.treet cur employees, has entered a demurrer. The company alleges that the court has no jurisdiction over tho Utah Light and Railway company, and that the complaint does not state facts sufficient to constitute a cause of action against the defendant. An adverse suit involving ground in conflict between the Lllburn Mining company and the Albion Mining company com-pany was filed yesterday In the District court. The claims which interfere are the Lllburn No. 7, Lllburn No. 8. Lllburn Lll-burn No. 9, Ridge No. 1 and Ridge No, 2, owned by the plaintiff in tho LItttle Cottonwood Mining district, and the Alice No. 1, Alice.
