JOHN P SMITH KILLED Ho Was Thrown Between Two Freight Cars at Eureka I TRIBUNE SPECIAL Eureka May IJohn P Smith was thrown between two freight cars and killed about 0 oclock this morning Smiths duties were to unload coal and move the cars of ore from thc Centennial Centen-nial Eureka orehouse on the Rio Grande switch down the grade when they were loaded In some manner they got beyond his control and bumped against some other cars Ho was thrown off and struck against the brake rod breaking his back and his ribs He crushing was I about 10 years old married and the father of several children His father William Smith a pioneer of Coal vllle The dead man was a member o1 the A O U W in which order he was insured for 1000 A Coroners jury 1 viewed the remains this afternoon and I an inquest will be held Monday mornIng morn-Ing at 10 oclock I
