TWO GIRLS ARE ATTACKED One on First South the Other In Plo neer Park Two assaults were committed on young oung girls yesterday esterday The first case occurred on West Vest First South near West Vest Temple street In the morning Hedwig Bluck a earold girl was walling walking on West Test First South street when she was seized by a man who gave his name as John Smith Although the streets were crowded he continued to hold the young girl until he was grabbed by several men man and turned over oer to Policeman Burton He was let out on ball bail and has disappeared disappeared Early In the afternoon Agnes Caldwell a girl was playing with some companions In Pioneer park She left them and was returning home when she alleges she was attacked by W If H Benge Three men ran to her assistance and Bongo Benge warded them off by a gun and ran through the park toa to a house The pd p lice were notified and Policemen n Pitts Pitta and Kelly rushed to the scene The They cap the man coming out of the house Benge Is a miner and 56 years old
