J -i Burt Reynolds Stuntman Reynolds Burt Reynolds stars as the reigning king of the brawling, risk-taking, fun-loving Hollywood Holly-wood stuntmen in "Hooper," an action-adventure film also starring Jan-Michael Vincent, Sally Field, Brian Keith and Robert Klein, to be rebroad-cast rebroad-cast Wednesday, Feb. 10 on CBS. The movie was released theatrically in 1978 by Warner Bros. The acclaimed veteran stuntman Hal Needham directed Reynolds, himself a former stunt actor. The story revolves around Sonny Hooper (Reynolds) who has had a two-decade reign as the top stuntman as the scars on his pain-racked body attest. Hooper has always been quick to take on the most spectacular, most difficult "gags" in the business, but this time, under pressure from a hot new competitor (Vincent), an overly demanding demand-ing director (Klein), and a promise he has made to his girl (Miss Field), he may be going too far. John Lennon tapes Another former Beatle can bo seen on Feb. 9 when the Satellite Program Network airs four videotapes featuring the music of John Lennon and Yoko Ono during a special edition edi-tion of "The David Gruen Show." The tapes, with music from various Lennon albums, range from three to seven minutes. Three tapes "Walking on Thin Ice." "No, No, No" and "Season of Glass." all produced by Ms. Ono about a month after Lennon's death in December 1980 are receiving their first national exposure. "Woman." the fourth tape, features music from Lennon's last album. "Double Fantasy." and was originally shown on ABC.
