Show Bountiful Signs Hydro Agreement BOUNTIFUL City officials offi-cials here, in conjunction with Bountiful Power and Light, announced recently that a license application will be filed with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation Recla-mation for the construction of a hydro-electric plant on Moon Lake Dam. IN SUPPORT of the project, the Bountiful City Council agreed Wednesday to sign an accord with the BOR, saying the city will "coordinate and cooperate" with the BOR during dur-ing the planning stages. The idea of the agreement, say officials, is to insure that there is constant cooperation between the city and the BOR before the hydro-electric plant is constructed. THE CONTRACT provides that the BOR will also requre Bountiful to meet all the requirements re-quirements and provisions set up by the Federal Energy Regulatory Reg-ulatory Commission. The FERC requires that the facility not destroy any surrounding sur-rounding property and says planning, designing and construction con-struction efforts must he coordinated coor-dinated with the IK)R.
