Show Bountiful Officials Tighten Reigns On Cable TV Pad By MARK D. MICKELSEN BOUNTIFUL If Wasatch Community Commun-ity Television fails to complete its Bounti-- Bounti-- ' fill installations by Dec: 31, 1982, the city ' council has the option of revoking the cable " company's franchise, according to City Manager Tom Hardy. MR. HARDY, speaking before city council coun-cil members last Wednesday night, said the city has the power to revoke the company's franchise in the event company officials are unable to meet the city's new completion timetable. City Attorney Layne Forbes said some monetary penalties could also be set up and imposed against Wasatch Community TV if the council's Dec. 31 completion deadline dead-line is not met. ATTY. FORBES said the city had originally origin-ally wanted the company to complete its work by May, 1981, but, due to some problems prob-lems agreed to extend the deadline to Dec 31, 1982. The new ordinance amendment requires Wasatch Community TV to complete hook-ups by the end of the year, provit that underground conduit is available f the extension of the cable system.
