Show Mrs. Ethel Beebe Marriage Vows Recited In Upalco Ward Hall Leo Ames, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Ames, and Shirley Iorg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Iorg, of Upalco, were married Thursday evening, at 8:00 p.m. at the Upalco ward chapel with Bishop Leland Potts performing the ceremony. Gary Jessen was best man and Betty Iorg, a sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. The bride was dressed in a street length dress of a yellow sheen material, with a corsage of red roses. The bridesmaid was dressed in a red street dress, with a corsage of gardenia and the mothers wore corsages of carnations and gardenias. Relatives of the Immeriate families were present and a reception re-ception and dance was held after af-ter the wedding. The young couple will make their home in Salt Lake City. Stake M.I.A. Leadership was held Saturday night, April 25 at Mt. Emmons. Those from Al-tonah Al-tonah attending were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Maxfield, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mohlman, Mr. and Mrs. Ty Kolb, Mr. and Mrs. Lin-ford Lin-ford Maxfield, Ola and Coralie Maxfield and Mrs. Marian Reese. Mrs. Mary Carroll received word her son, Dale, who entered enter-ed the service recently, is stationed sta-tioned at Ft. Lewis, Washington. Lester Maxfield was a speaker at Sacrament meeting in Tal-mage, Tal-mage, Sunday. Dora Ames, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clinty Ames, has been ill with the measles. , Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mohlman and family spent Sunday in Salt Lake City, to visit Mrs. Mohl-man's Mohl-man's mother, Mrs. Florence Carter, who is ill. Mrs. Ty Kolb received word her brother-in-law, Semore Bond who was shot down from an airplane in Korea, March 2, 1952 arrived in the United States April 18. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were Hugo Mitchell, of Upalco, and the following Seminary students from Alta-mont: Alta-mont: Lois Sadler, of Mt. Emmons Em-mons and Eloise Atwood, of Bluebell. Pauline Winkler, of Bluebell, sang a solo, "My Testimony," Tes-timony," and Gayle Case, of Mt. Emmons was a visitor. Mr. and Mrs. Patrick McPolin, of Salt Lake City, and Johnny Lambert were in Altonah on business, Wednesday of last week. Those from Altonah attending attend-ing the American Legion convention con-vention at Ft. Duchesne. Sunday, Sun-day, April 26 -were, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunsmore, Mrs. Wm. E. Clark, Mrs. Dora Bird and Clvde Lambert. |
