Show 'Buried Child' Auditions On the heels of its successful run of "Chapter Two" the Intermountain Actors Ensemble has announced an-nounced tryouts for its next main stage production. Sam Shepard's Pulitzer-prize winning win-ning drama "Buried Child." Auditions are set for Monday Mon-day March 15 and Tuesday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Prospector Square Theater. The production will be presented Mav 13. 14. 20. 21. 22 and 27." 28 and 29 in the Prospector Theater. The play presents a modern, mod-ern, concise view of a rural family that could be any body's family. The story centers around the "ghost" in the family's "closet." It's the tale of a family that fails to communicate and grows apart to the point where no one really knows each other. The distances become apparent appar-ent when an "outsider" enters the picture and the audience discovers gradually that things are not what they appear to be. A stirring, exceptionally written piece, "Buried Child" offers parts for two women and five men. The production will be directed by Ron Burnett. No experi ence is required; however, actors auditioning for the show will be asked to read from the script and do some improvisation.
