Show Weather: Changing Does weather ever remain the same? In hot summer spells is the air over town or city the same air that was there yesterday, or the day before? WEATHER is never the same. The same conditions may exist, but the weather you are experiencing todaythe gases that are above you-have probably come from hundreds of miles away in the past twenty-four hours. In the United States the movement of weather is generally gener-ally from west to east and seldom sel-dom does a time come when this trend is not the effect. The air you breathe today was not in your area yesterday. Experts Ex-perts have estimated that it usually was several hundred miles westward yesterday. THIS DOES not mean that clear air hundreds of miles to the west cannot become moist or cloudy by the time it reaches you. Local conditions sometimes some-times generate clouds and precipitation, pre-cipitation, but usually on a local loc-al scale. |
