In fact, the latest blurb out of I ; 'he all-knowing computer says that unless he sends I $162 pronto he could be in jail within a few days. I NOW COM. Gerlach is as law-abiding as anyone I ' else, everyone is assured, and has offered to comply ' with that request. He's already been to the bureauc- ' ratic buildings on the hill in Salt Lake City all to no ! avail. What could've been a "lazy" summer turned into j : he start of this unwanted hassle when the good of I IRS asked for more information on his tax return : suiting in his response that led to word in July his : 'ax was going up. NOW WHEN more money's involved, a person I- ' naturally wants to get to the bottom of the matter. ' Com. Gerlach pored over his records and found he'd glared a part of his income two times. That means ; he paid too much to the IRS. And although he convinced the omniscient IRS, he state has yet to clear its data banks. Unfortunate-f Unfortunate-f ly, as with most other processing matters in -' ; bureauracy, they're four-six months behind, so- -ho knows when it'll all be cleared up. |
