Show Farmington Bv KATHRVN JENNINGS 451-2027 The Farmington First Ward couples group will have a special spe-cial event on Oct. 15 with the theme "Encourage Couples to Maintain Regular Courtship." There will be a haynde and weiner roast with volleyball games. A special feature for all w ill be the decorating of pumpkins pump-kins with a Halloween theme, according to Glenda Rigby. Newell and Myrlene Kimball Kim-ball are the specialists in this organization. On Nov. 5, there is to be a special outing to Brighton, spending the night with lots of fun and activities for the couples. The Shepard Creek DUP plans to go to Salt Lake City for the next regular meeting on Oct. 19, according to Captain Linda Reischer. They plan to tour the DL'P library and museum. Members may contact con-tact Mrs. Reischer for further information. Mr. and Mrs. Walt Elliott have had house guests from Cutknife, Saskatchewan, Canada. Mr. and Mrs. John Ferguson were visiting here and attended the LDS conference. confer-ence. Walt and Shirley DeVore have returned home after a trip to Eleva, Wise, for the funeral services of a sister-in-law , Mrs. Stanley (Winifred) Lokken. |
