The South Davis Junior High PTSA board under the direction of Barbara Barnett is looking forward to a successful year. Their goal of including the students in their organization organiza-tion is working well. A student committee will meet with them monthly for a blending of purposes. BACK TO school night was well attended by parents. The band, under the direction of Mr. Campbell, performed and the chorus led by Mr. Dunn, sang a song. This year the board intends to continue "Parent Invita-tionals." Invita-tionals." These meetings with a few parents at a time gives them the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about ab-out the school. EFFORT is being made to emphasize the positive things that the students at South Davis Jr. High do in and out of class. One of the PTSA fund raisers rais-ers is being held today, Oct. 13. Pictures will be taken at the school from 3-7 p.m. Families are encouraged to support this worthwhile effort. The money will be used to adopt a new program that will foster ' citizenship and patriotism , among the students. i |
