Show Mrs. Cowley Invited To Safety Seminar In Denver June 21 Mrs. M. A. Cowley of Cedar City has been invited to attend at-tend and participate in a seminar dealing with safety and what women can do about it. The seminar has been called by the Women's Department of the National Safety Council and will be held in Denver, Colo., on June 21 to 23, at the Sheraton-Malibu Airport Inn. According to Alice C. Mills, director of the Women's Department De-partment of the National Safety Safe-ty Council, representatives to the seminar will include women wo-men from Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming. In requesting Mrs. Cowley's participating, Mrs. Mills indicated indi-cated that the meeting is to be an informal affair at which a discussion of safety programs pro-grams and what women can do about them will be conducted. con-ducted. "We are seeking the assistance assist-ance of women leaders across the country because we feel sure that much can be accomplished ac-complished by giving specific attention to the place of women wo-men in helping to solve acci-j dent problems in their own j states and cities. The role of women in safety, and the possibilities pos-sibilities for remedial efforts in accident prevention will be considered," Mrs. Mills said. |
