Show NEWS FROM NEWCASTLE Charles and Elizabeth Hulet are home for the summer after af-ter having been working in the St. George LDS Temple. The annual Escalante Zone meeting was held at Zion National Na-tional Park May 28. Those from Newcastle who attended were Jack Walters, Darwin Hulet. R'issel Chri-tonsen, Norman Nor-man Hulet, Verl Woolsey, and Trustin Hart. Their wives were also invited. Janice Christensen was home for the weekend for a visit from Cedar City. Jimmie Tullis was also home for the weekend. Mrs. Norma Christensen The hig news this week has been the many graduations and school closing. The younger young-er ones have been as happy as the older students. Seminary Semin-ary graduation was held last week and those graduating from here were Janet and Madeline Tullis, daughters of Airs. Mary Tullis; Sophia Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Uriah Jones; Joy Woolsey, Wool-sey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Verl Woolsey; Donna Hulet, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Dar-win Hulet, and Yvonne Forsyth, For-syth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Forsyth, graduated as a four year kraduate. High School graduates from here are Yvonne Forsyth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Forsyth; Alarsha Harrison, Har-rison, daughter of Mr. and Airs. Albert Harrison, and Steve Lavora, son of Mr. and Airs. Clarence Lavora. Air. and Airs. Russell Christensen Chris-tensen traveled to Las Vegas last week where they visited at the home of Air. and Mrs. Caine Christensen. Air. and Mrs. Darwin Thomas of Enterprise, Enter-prise, accompanied them. Air. and Mrs. Leonard Reber of Alesquite, Nevada, were visitors vis-itors last week at the home of their daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hulet. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Deem of Lakewood, Calif., and Mrs. Marie Winter of La Crecentia, Calif., were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Christensen. Norma accompanied ac-companied her folks to northern north-ern Utah for a visit with other relatives and friends. Roberta Clark and daughter Bonnie from Granger, Mary Raines and daughters and son from Milford, Mr. and Mrs. Miles (Delia) Hunt from Pleasant Plea-sant Grove were here for the Memorial Day weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Piatt were also al-so visitors. Elaine and Jeannie Forsyth, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Frosyth were here from Salt Lake City for a vacation. They are attending school in Salt Lake. |
