Miss Ciiristciisen received a scholarship schol-arship to Dixie College for academic achievement. Mr. and Mrs. Veil Beckstead traveled to South Dakota to get them a fine Arabian ! horse. ! Mrs. Vaughn Isom is spending spend-ing a few weeks in northern Utah with some of her sisters. Her son, Merlin, underwent surgery in a Veterans Hospital Hospi-tal last week. Miss Hanna Davis visited a couple of days in Salt Lake City last week with some of her friends. Gene Toland spent last week in Circleville working with the Forest Service. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Board-man Board-man of Paragonah, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Kitchen and family of Tremonton spent a few days with their mother, Mrs. Maude Robinson, and sister, Lou Ella Hawkins. Miss Alice Piatt of Salt Lake City spent three days visiting with her parents, Mr. and Airs. Lyle Piatt. Mrs. Kathy Jones and children chil-dren left Sunday for a two week, stay in Long Beach Calif, visiting with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Airs. Earl Lane. Airs. Colleen Williams and four daughters traveled to Panguitch last Friday to attend at-tend funeral services for their grandmother Norton. Twenty of our young people spent Saturday at Veyo on a swimming party, then on to St. George for a picnic. Air. and Airs. Anion Piatt and daughter, LaVera, of liiv-erlon liiv-erlon spent the .Memorial week end here with Air. and Airs. Leonard Davis and family. fam-ily. Tony Corneluis, son of Air. and Airs. James Cornelius of Lander, Wyo. arrived here Saturday Sat-urday to spend a few weeks with his brothers, Dale and Scott, and his sister and family, fam-ily, the Keith Williams. Airs. Roma Wood of Las Vegas brought her mother, Hettie Pollock home after spending a few weeks with her daughter, Sharla, who attended at-tended school at BYU. Airs. Francis Williams has returned home after visiting in Cedar City with her daughter daugh-ter and family, the Harlan Walkers. Airs. Ethna Williams enjoyed enjoy-ed visits Saturday and Sunday from some of her children and grandchildren, Air. and Airs. Rowan Williams and family, Air. and Mrs. Garth Pollock and family, and Kyle and Kelly Kel-ly Williams, all of Cedar City. Air. and Airs. Gary Williams and daughter, Becky Ann, have moved to Reno, Nov. to make their home for awhile. Verde Williams traveled to Reno with them to visit for a few weeks. Orlan Davis of Cedar City visited with his sister and brother-in-law, Air. and Airs. Junnis Williams. Visiting with Mr. and Airs. Glade Berry and Aloma was Avey Gregerson of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Tona Pierce of New Harmony, John Berry and Balinda Davis of Cedar City. |
