CALVIN JENSEN Miss Judy Stratton, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Stratton, Cedar City, became the bride of Calvin Jensen, Salt Lake City, during a double dou-ble ring ceremony performed by an LDS Bishop in the Las Vegas First Ward Church. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Jensen, Las Vegas, Nev. A reception was held for the couple May 27, in the Cedar City First Ward cultural hall. For this occasion, the bride wore a lace dress with a full skirt and a veil which was secured to a jeweled tiara. She carried a bouquet of gla-melias gla-melias and accenting yellow flowers. Attending the bride was matron ma-tron of honor, Manon Corry, a sister. Bridesmaids included Lila Jean Kaminska, Lina Wright and sisters of the couple, cou-ple, Ruby Stratton and Rickie Sue Jensen. Their dresses were different shades of spring colors col-ors which were harmonious. The attendants carried nosegays nose-gays of elamelias. Best man was Clair Jensen. Ushers were Rodney Kaminska Kamins-ka and Ronald Stratton. Mothers of the couple wore pink lace and blue lace dress-with dress-with accenting glamelia corsages. cor-sages. For the honeymoon trip to San Diego, Calif., the bride wore a pink going-away suit. The bride is a graduate of the Cedar City High School. She also attended the Mary College of Beauty in Provo. The newlyweds will make their home in Salt Lake City where Mr. Jensen is employed at the Lark Mine. He plans to complete his education in the near future in order to receive re-ceive his B.S, degree. |
