The William Wil-liam Manning Service Award was presented to Virginia Jones, Las Vegas. Hazel Niel-son, Niel-son, Salt Lake City, won the Parley Dalley Service Award. She was the first woman student stu-dent at CSU to win the special spec-ial physical education grant. Award to Carolyn Matheson. Cedar City, and the John S. Christensen Science Award to David Wilmes, Springdale, with Richard Sandberg, Hurricane, Hurri-cane, as alternate. The Roy Urie Award was presented to Dennis Crane, Salina. The C. B. Cooley Service Award went to Ralph Tullis, Cedar City, and the Eugene Hardy Service Award was presented pre-sented to LaMond Hurst, Pan-aca, Pan-aca, Nev. Karen Fretwell, Cedar City, was selected to receive the Annette Betenson Award for excellence in music Awards for highest scholastic scholas-tic standing in the freshman, sophomore, and junior classes went to David Myers, Cedar I City; Annette Rawlinson, Del-jta; Del-jta; and Audrey Gilger, Paro-I Paro-I wan, respectively. Special iorensics honors were won by Larry Smith and Richard Randall, Salt Lake City; Phil Robinson, Fillmore; and Claudia Palmer and Susan Sus-an Whitaker, both of Cedar City. Wall Street Journal awards were presented to Bob Lee, Hurricane, and Tom Means, Bakersfield, Calif. The Don Marshall Award, 1 created in memory of the first I athlete ever to win All Amer-1 ican recognition in basketball at the college, was won by the institution's second All-American, All-American, John Carey of Panorama Pano-rama City, Calif. W. Wayne Kimball, Salt Lake City, won the Lucile Broadbent Foundation Award. The Utah State Historical Society Soc-iety Award was presented to Daphne C. Dalley, Cedar City. CSU Faculty Assn. Award went to Joan D. Skinner, Cedar Ce-dar City, and the Ladies Faculty Fac-ulty Award was given to Diana Mae Lee, Hesperus, Colo. Larry Moore, Plymouth, Indiana, and John Logan, Cedar Ce-dar City, won the Cedar City Benevolent and Protective Order Or-der of Elks Award. Other special awards were the William H.
