Show M. I. A. Classes Have Special Programs This Tuesday evening the special interest group of the West ward M. I. A. heard Miss Alice Pendleton Pendle-ton review "The Yankee from Olympia." This is the personal story of the life of the veteran jurist, Oliver Wendell Holmes and his family. For Tuesday, Jan. 9, Mrs. Virgil Snow will give an interesting review re-view of the work and contributions contribu-tions of American poets. This will feature several short poetic readings along with vocal solos by Mrs. Mack G. Jackson. "My Visits to the Holy Land" was the title of the address given before the Center ward adult class last Tuesday evening. On Tuesday, Tues-day, Jan. 9, Mrs. Pearson Corbett will read the play, "Family Portrait," Por-trait," which gives an intimate picture of the home life of Jesus. In the East -ward the special interest 'group heard Supt Milton Moody discuss the present and anticipated post war school problems. pro-blems.
