Show Post Initiates 14 New Legionnaires More than 150 Legionnaires, Auxiliary Aux-iliary members and guests assembled as-sembled at the South ward chapel recreation hall Monday evening, Jan. 1, for the ceremonies in which 14 Washington county men were initiated. Commander Roy Williams of Lester Keate Post No. 90 officially conducted the ceremonies assisted by John T. Woodbury Jr., Vernon Worthen, K. M. Cannon, associate officers; Howard Starr, chaplain and Dee Lang, sergeant at arms. The 14 initiated were Shirley Adams, Jesse R. Booth, D. Elwyn Cameron, John Day, Howard Drake, Robert J. Fawcett, Kenneth Ken-neth Charles Hall, Leo Elmer Hall. Alvin F. Hardy, Louis J. Hartley, Heber Holt, Vernon C. J'xiR. E. Grant McMullin and Clyde Turnbeaugh. These men are from Leeds, Washington, St. George and Enterprise. Following the ceremonies, there were two trumpet solos by Greg Snow accompanied by Mrs. Earl J. Bleak, after which an excellent excel-lent buffet lunch was served. Dancing occupied the remainder of the evening. |
