Show Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cannon returned re-turned Saturday from San Francisco. Fran-cisco. O', Clair Snow was host at a New Year's eve dinner at the home of his parents, Pres. and Mrs. Harold S. Snow, Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Von B. Cottam and two small sons were Christmas Christ-mas week guests of Mrs. Cottam's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Mc-Arthur. Mc-Arthur. Their sister, Miss Enid McArthur, returned to Salt Lake City with them, remaining until Tuesday of this week. J', v- w lf Holiday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Hemenway were their son-in-law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Atkin and children from Buttonwillow, Calif. Capt. and Mrs. Melvin Dyer accompanied ac-companied them. Mrs. Phil Squires returned Monday Mon-day from spending a week in Los Angeles and Santa Paula, Calif, with relatives. She accompanied accom-panied her sister, Mrs. Ray Hobbs and small son to Santa Paula where they will spend a month with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Hobbs, parents of FO Hobbs who is now overseas. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hopkins have been advised of the birth of a son to Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Earl of LaVerkin on Dec. 9. -V- M. '. -a- ")C Dell H. Robinson of Logandale was a business visitor in St. George Tuesday. .K. M. .M. W "If - Blaine Dalton returned to his home in Orem Tuesday morning after spending six days in St. George with his aunt, Miss Tillie Winsor. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Orton and children were here from New Harmony during the holidays to visit with-his mother, Mrs. Mary Orton and with Mrs.. Orton's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Gubler. Mrs. William Leithead arrived Monday to visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Cannon, prior to the departure Tuesday of their son, Pfc. Donald Cannon for his next assignment. Jt. Jt. Pickett is returning return-ing this week end to Salt Lake City where she will continue her schooling and teaching at the McCune school of Music and Art. |
