Show SPRINGDALE Mrs. Sterling Seegmiller Reporter Mrs. Florence Fairbanks, her daughter, Mrs. James Cope and two children and Mr. and Mrs. Julius Dclcice of Salt Lake City arrived Sunday to visit for a few days with relatives. Mrs. Dclcice is the former Nellie Johnson. Mr. Deleice is home on a 30-day leave from New Guinea recovering from a recent injury. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hirschi and family of Cedar City spent New Year's day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Othel Gifford. Pvt. Averd Gifford left Tuesday morning for Fort Ord, Calif, after a five-day furlough at home. Mrs. Gerald Gifford and three children of Salt Lake City spent the holidays at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Gifford. A number of people from here attended the funeral of Joe Hum-phrys Hum-phrys at Hurricane Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Davis have arrived from Oklahoma for a visit here. Mr. Davis has been stationed there for some time. Mr. and Mrs. John Ruesch and Mrs. Erma Udell and small daughter daugh-ter made a trip to Salt Lake City last week. While there Mr. Reusch received medical treatment. Barney Gifford was home from the sheep herd over the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Von Hoyt spent part of last week visiting rela-! rela-! tives in PJehfield. I Mrs. Paul Short of Virgin was guest New Year's day of her sis- ter, Mrs. Victor Rucsch. |
