Show PAR AGON AH NEWS NOTES By Hilma Lamoreaux We were a bit late hearing of some of the Thanksgiving visitors vis-itors and family dinners which I celebrated the holiday. I Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Conder and, their three children came from I Magna to spend the holiday with Lucile's, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Robinson and son Max. They spent Thanksgiving Day In Par-! Par-! agonah and on the following day the group traveled to Kanab to spend the day with the Boyd I Robinson family. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Topham were hosts for a family Thanksgiving Thanks-giving dinner for Alma's people. Mr. and Mrs. Earl LeFevre and. most of their family were here 'from Salt Lake City. They were I Joined by the Howard Topham family and Mr. and Mrs. Asa Topham Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Anderson and their little girls of Kanab visited at the James H. Anderson Ander-son home on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Peterson, son Jack and daughter Judy of 1 Fillmore visited with the James H. Anderson family on Thursday of last week. They were accompanied accom-panied by a young Samoan lady friend of their son Dean. Mrs. Annie Talbot was able to leave the Holy Cross Hospital on Friday of last week following her operation. She Is visiting with daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Justin Fairbanks, and cettlng acquainted with the new little granddaughter. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lamoreaux, Duane Lamoreaux and Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Robinson were In Parowan Par-owan on Sunday to attend the christening of little Gordon L Mortensen. Infant son of Ronald and Joan Mortensen. Eugene Boardman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. S. Boardman, en-Joyed en-Joyed a most Interesting trip last week. He traveled to Salt Lake City to attend the turkey show sponsored by the Utah Turkey Growers Association. Gene had been raising some turkeys as an FFA project and as part of the experimental project conducted by the extension service. The banded birds were processed and taken to the capital city for Judging and sale. Gene traveled to the city early Friday with Alton Pendleton of Parowan and was on hand for the trkey Judging Judg-ing at the Utah Poultry Coop, and the dinner which followed. He attended the wrestling card and was present at the turkey show awards banquet on Saturday Satur-day evening. Watson Adams of the Stake Presidency visited In Paragonah on Sunday, attending all church meetings. The Daughters of Utah Pioneers Pio-neers will hold their regular meeting on Dec. 18 at the home of Mrs. Idella Robinson. The meeting will commence at 2 p. m. The Relief Society organization will hold Its annual Christmas party on Tuesday, Doc. 16. Meeting Meet-ing will commence at 1:43 The literary lesson will be given first, to be followed by a short program, pro-gram, refreshments an exchange of gifts. All ladies of th ward are Invited to be present and each is asked to bring a 50 cent gift. Earlene and Tony LeFevre were down from Salt Lake City last week end for a visit with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Asa Topham and other family members. They made te trip with LaMar Clark, Cedar City I prize fighter. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Abbott and 1 family traveled to Salt Lake City last Friday in order to take their son Lee to his city physician. They spent the week end with the Thomas Abbott family 1ft Murray and when they returned home on Sunday young Lee remained re-mained in the city for a week or two with his uncle's family. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Galway and three small sons of Salt Lake City visited briefly In Paragonah Par-agonah one day last week with Mrs. Galway's aunt, Mrs. Hannah Han-nah Robinson. The family was returning home after a week In St. George with the Job E. Halls. Mr. Hall Is making a slow recovery re-covery from a serious automobile automo-bile accident. Mr. and Mrs. John C. Barton and Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Partner Part-ner traveled to Cedar City em Tuesday to attend the Anderson funeral services. The mother of the deceased is a niece of Mrs. Barton. Doyle Robinson returned home on Friday after being In the Salt Lake Veteran's Hospital for surgery. sur-gery. He is out and around again and feeling quite well. Gordon and Janlne Manzione and their two lltle girls, and Shanna and Ellen Jolley wet over from Cedar City on Sunday for a visit with the Revere Robinson Rob-inson family. The Ward Building Committee sponsored a movie at the school auditorium on Saturday evening. Dec. 6, with all proceeds to go to the Ward Building Fund. The MIA Special Interest class enjoyed an Interesting evening on Tuesday.
