Show MOHTWELL Bettie Mower PINK - BLUE SHOWER Mrs. Lora Hullinger and Mrs. Leta Woodward were hostesses at a pink and blue shower given at the home of Mary Hamblin in honor of Mrs. Nila Draper. Games were played and refreshments served. Melvin Mower attended the Scout banquet and meeting held in Provo April 15. SUNDAY SPEAKERS Speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday evening were Marion Bowman, Bow-man, Laura Thompson, Evelyn Roberts and James E. Hamblin. Sunday School officers and teachers from here attended the two stake Sunday Schol convention conven-tion at Roosevelt Sunday afternoon. after-noon. Mrs. Laura Thompson received word Saturday from Layton, that her brother, Oren Anderson, had passed away Friday. The funeral held in Layton Tuesday at 1 p.m. Burial was in the Park City cemetery. ceme-tery. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson Thomp-son and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Roberts Rob-erts attended it. NEW GRANDKIDS The Reed Andertons are stepping step-ping on air the past week. They have a new set of twin granddaughters, grand-daughters, born to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Anderton. The babies and mother are doing fine. Mrs. Anderton An-derton was formerly Lorraine Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Axel ' Anderson of Roosevelt. |
