Show March Bond Sales Narrow Quota Gap Sales of -Series E and H Savings Bonds amounted to $4,776 in Duchesne Du-chesne County during March, according ac-cording to Wesley R. Dickerson, county savings bonds chairman. Total sales for the first quarter were $10,343, or 18.7 of the county's 1955 quota, he reported. Mr. Floyd D. Williams, Coalville District (Summit County) Savings Bonds chairman, will be awarded the miniature Liberty Bell offered by the Utah Savings Bonds committee com-mittee for the highest percentage of county quota attained at the end of the first quarter, it was announced an-nounced by Clem S. Schramm, state sales director. The award will be made in recognition of the outstanding record of bond purchases pur-chases by the citizens of Summit County in reaching 51.1 of their 1955 quota. Purchases in the Coalville Coal-ville area exceeded those of other areas in the county, making Mr. Williams eligible for the award, he stated. |
