Show -Arcadia Mrs. Elsie Bird Gold-Green Ball Held On Tuesday The Arcadia and Bridgeland wards Gold and Green Ball was held Tuesday in the Arcadia ward hall. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald, Mrs. Edythe Marrett, Mrs. Elda Van Tassell, of Bridgeland, attended attend-ed ward board meeting here Wednesday Wed-nesday night, to make plans for the Gold and Green Ball. Mrs. Vera Larsen was taken to Roosevelt Monday, where she received re-ceived medical treatment. Milt Larsen was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital Tuesday, where he was treated for pneumonia. He was able to return home Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Gilbert, attended the Hi-Land Dairy meeting meet-ing at the Newhouse Hotel in Salt Lake City, Friday. President Hale Holgate attended the Scout meeting in Provo, Friday. Fri-day. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird, Deon Bird took Emery Nielson to Salt Lake City, Friday. They also went to Provo, where Mr. Bird and Mr. Nielson received medical treatment, treat-ment, returning home the same day. A large crowd from Arcadia attended at-tended quarterly conference in Duchesne, Sunday. Mrs. Merle Ross, Delmer, Donna Don-na and LaMar Ross attended the open house held Sunday in Vernal Ver-nal for Mrs. Cynthia Massey on her 91st birthday. John Gilbert was taken to Roosevelt Roos-evelt Tuesday, where he received medical treatment for his leg he hurt when he was getting off the tractor. Mrs. Chad Evans is reported on the sick list, but is much improved im-proved at this time. Margaret Lusty, Keith Evans, Gerald Gilbert and Bruce Keller started to kindergarten Monday. VISITORS FROM HOLLAND Mrs. Mervino Haarboosh and three daughters, Nettie, Bet and Rea, ' of Harlam, Holland, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ross. They came in from Salt Lake with R. G. Ross. R. G. met them in Holland when he was in the army. They had only been here two and a half days. |
