Show MAMMOTH IS ACTIYK. Mammoth Copper, located twelve miles northeast of Milford, in the Mineral Range, has just shipped its sixth car of ore. The main shaft is now down 110 feet, from which level, they are running run-ning two drifts. At the 5-foot depth, the ore-body apparently ran out, but in cleaning out the station, the vein again reappeared and shows strong in low grade, with considerable consider-able high-grade, also. Ore from the main pit showed S-4S per cent copper cop-per and it is believed the drifts will show up at least as well, if not better. bet-ter. In the other drift, limonite, or iron ore is being encountered. The late shipment shows values of .005 of an ounce gold, .00 of an ounce in silver and 3.6S per cent copper. A force of four or five men is at work on the property. Machinery will be installed as soon as developments justify this being done. The Mammoth Mam-moth is in proven territory; the Old Crater being on the north, also the Beaver Range mines, the Antelope Star and East Antelope. |
