Show BIDS ARE CALLED FOR. On Construction of Sewer E.vtcn sion. As will be noted, by a glance at the legal department of the News, this week, the town of Milford la advertising for bids for the completion com-pletion of an extension to its sewer system. The pipe for the proposed new system is to be eight inches in diameter dia-meter and is to be laid on Stoddard, Main, McKeon Streets, and the alley in Block 2, beginning at the north line of First Avenue and connecting with the sewer line in Center Street. This is a much-needed improvement and marks an era in the progress of Milford. The cost of the improvement is to be assessed and paid for as follows, reading from the published notice: The estimated cost of said sewer in improvement is three thousand one hundred ninety five dollars and forty, six rents ( ?3.1!l 5.4 1 ) whic h shall he assessed against all of the property above described which is hereby declared de-clared to be specially benefited to the full extent of the cost of said improvement. im-provement.
