OCR Text	Show DUCKS AND MUD-HEXS. J. William Curtis entertained a party of Milford duck-hunters, Saturday Satur-day and Sunday, at his shooting preserve, pre-serve, Hay Springs. There were only ten invited guests but they landed some ducks and had a delightful time. It is rumored that "Doc" Brooks assassinated five mud-hens mud-hens before he discovered they were not ducks, but this may only be rumor. Guests of the occasion were Garret Wilkins, "Doc" Brooks, Sam Cline, Game Warden John McKeon, A. R. Lewis, Horace Palmer, H. H. Bader, W. W. Crone, Harry Ward! Dr. Allen G. Hurdman, of Denver' Colo.
