Show DeMille and Hansen united in Temple 3 u chN ( 1 - A ci Rites solemnized in the St George IDS Temple September 17 united Miss Francie DeMille and Robert Kelly Hansen in holy matrimony. President Elihu Whatcott, counselor in the Temple Presidency, officiated at the double ring ceremony. Parents of the newlyweds are Mr. and Mrs. Glendon DeMille Hurricane and Mr. and Mrs' Robert C. Hansen, 593 S. 640 W Festivities honoring the young people included a reception in Hurricane Sept. 17 and an Open House at the home of the bridegroom's parents in Cedar on Sept 18. The bride wore a full length white satin taffeta gown featuring an empire waistline and long puffed sleeves held at the wrist with a cuff. It was accented by a beaded lace insert which extneded the full length of the gown. Attached to the gown was a long, bridal train with a satin bow at the back waistline. She wore a ruffled wide brimmed hat which held a shoulder length veil and was designed by her sister Julie. Completing the bridal picture was a bouquet of assorted fall flowers in gold, burnt orange, and olive green. A burnt orange ribbon was used for accent. Attending the bride was her sister Julie DeMille as Maid of Honor and bridesmaids: Mrs. James (Linda) Nelson, Mrs. Kelly (Glenna) Wilson, Mrs. David (Heidi) Rindlisbacher, Mrs. Kendall (Rea) Gubler, Mrs. Richard (Jolene) Ewell, Jill Dalton, and Janet Campbell. Flower girl was Cari Nelson. The attendants wore" voile print, empire waist dresses in shades of gold, burnt orange and olive green. The dresses featured ruffled collars and were trimmed in burnt orange lace. Each attendant at-tendant held a single, burnt orange carnation with long gold streamers. MR. AND MRS. ROBERT KELLY HANSEN residing. The bride attended Dixie College and SUSC for 3 years? She is now a senior at University of Utah majoring in Elementary Education. Mr. Hansen attended SUSC for three years. He fulfilled a Kentucky-Tennessee mission for the IDS Church and is presnetly enrolled in the Pharmacy School at the University of Utah. Michael O. Leavitt stood as best man and the ushering was done by Drew Hansen, Paul Cahoon, Scott Thorley, and Robert Milne. Mrs. DeMille wore a gold sheath with flare sleeves and Mrs. Hansen wore a yellow lace. Orange corsages accented both dresses. Prior to the wedding the bride was guest of honor at a party given by Janet Campbell. The bride chose a rust, suede jumpsuit as her going away costume. The couple honeymooned enroute to Salt Lake where they are presently |
