Mr. and Mrs. Willard Williams spent four days in Salt Lake City on business while there they visited their son and daughter-in-law Russell and Erika Williams and girls of Sandy, Ut. Misses Colleen and Pamela Christensen spent the weekend in Salt Lake City visiting Ted and Shelley Currey. Mr. Arthur Sechrest left for Stockton, Calif. Friday to spend ; the Thanksgiving Holidays with ; his children. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Williams ' spent several days in Logan attending Soil Conservation . meetings. Ronald was appointed t E & I Supervisor for this district. Visitors at the home of Mrs. Lena Berry this past week were: Mr. Doyle Cleo Williams and three daughters, Mrs. Avey Gregerson all of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Williams, Las Vegas, Nev.; Ora and Joe Paxton, Hurricane; Renie Wood, Boulder City, Nev.; Dwight Blackburn Sr. and Jr., William Blackburn, Nita Kossen and Clara Littlefield all of Henderson, Nev. ; Tom and Vilo Pearce, New Harmony; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Condie, Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Berry, Burley, Idaho. Lalif Wood, Erlene Isom, Delila Davis, Las By Carma Williams Mr. and Mrs. Truitt Morrell went to Milford Sat. to attend funeral services for Melvin Tate, a cousin of Mrs. Morrell. Mrs. Alva Batty received word of the death of her brother LaVenard Hartley of Panaca, Nev. Alva and Willard Batty and son Travis, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Davis, Mr. and Mrs. John Batty and Mrs. Elaine Stokes traveled to Panaca Wednesday to attend his services. Vern and Edith Hugie of Logan, Utah spent the day visiting with son and daughter-in-law Robert and Margaret Hugie. Ken Nelson of Santa Barbara, Calif, a friend to Truitt and Geri Morrell spent two days visiting with the Morrells. Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Williams of San Bernardinao, Calif., Mrs. Doris Williams, Seattle, Wash., and Mignon Malm, Salt Lake City visited with Gwen Davis and family. They were here for Delile's funeral. Chester and Carma Williams and Roberta Eastman spent Sat. afternoon in Ivins, Utah. Their children Jeffrey and Ellen Williams moved into their new home. Mrs. Georgia Beatty underwent un-derwent major surgery Wed. at the St. Marks Hospital m Salt Lake City. She is in satisfactory Vegas, Nev.; Javauna Wellis, Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. John Marshall, Salt Lake City, Dallen and Doris Williams and Kim Kennedy, Cedar City. Hauna Galbraith and two children Mitch and Bethany of Edwards AFB, Calif, are here spending two weeks with her mother Gwen Davis. Miss Aloma Berry spent her birthday Nov. 17 in Cedar City with Balinda Rowley and daughter Tennille. Mr. Keith Gubler spent several days in Rosemead, Calif. He went down to see his cousin who just returned from an LDS Mission. Mark Pollock of St. George spent the weekend here visiting relatives and friends. Raona Lewis and David Ence spent one day last week in St. George visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Williams and daughter of Salt Lake City and Kelly Williams of Layton, spent the day with their grandmother grand-mother Mrs. Ethna Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Dewayne Lovell and family have moved to St, George to make their home. Mrs. Lizzie Davis and daughter Kalda Adams of Cedar City visited Tuesday with their cousin Carma Williams. |
