Show Ski Resorts list improvements I Utah ski areas are putting the finishing touches on new facilities and improvements designed to maximize the fun of H skiing the "Greatest Snow on I Earth." I Major additions for the 1976-77 I season include: -Two new double chairlifts at Park City, serving training runs approved by the U.S. Ski Team, and high altitude Jupiter Bowl for off-trail and powder skiing. -A new double chairlift next to the aerial tram at Snowbird, serving runs previously accessible ac-cessible only to skiers using the tram. Convention facilities have been expanded and indoor tennis courts and an ice skating rink have been completed. -A new snow loading and snow unloading lift, replacing the Albion lift at Alta which will be I easier for beginning skiers to board. -A new Golden Spike Empire economy package, featuring Snow Basin and Powder Mountain, 17 and 19 miles northeast nor-theast of Ogden. Both are within 50 miles of Salt Lake City. -new condominium projects at Alta, Park City and Mt. Holly. -Newly-cut trails at Powder a Mountain, Sundance, Beaver I Mountain, Brian Head, Brighton I and Park West. & Beginning in November, I Brighton, Alta and Snowbird will I be served by the Utah Transil Authroity, operating on a regular schedule from bus stops in downtown Salt Lake City. Lewis Brothers Stages will continue to operate regular schedules from the airport to Park City and Park West and the shuttle bus service in Park City and between Alta and Snowbird has been improved. |
