Show Recreation Program For Boys and Girls Nov Under Way Cedar City recreation program got under way this week with a host of activities for boys and girls of the community. Ken Benson, recreation director, direct-or, stressed that all programs are open at all times for anyone interested. It is not necessary to have attended the first meeting he stated. A misunderstanding had apparently ap-parently arisen as to the location of some of the activities, he said. Particularly was this true of the dancing and twirling program for girls. These programs, he said, are being held in the multi-purpose room of the Cedar Junior High School. The room is sometimes referred to as the cafeteria, he pointed out, and the entrance to the room is in he back of the building. This apparently resulted result-ed in some girls not being in attendance at-tendance for the first sessions. All programs are well under way now, however Minor league baseball is slated slat-ed to begin today, Thursday. Softball program for adults is now under way each Wednesday and Saturday evening with the organization of a six team league. Reservations for the use of the Lions Pavilioon on the Cedar City park can now bemade at the swimming pool or by contacting contact-ing Mr. Benson. |
