Temple Rites Unite Marie Rasmussen And James Green I United in marriage on Satur-! Satur-! day, May 2H in the St. George LDS Temple were Marie Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen and James Green, The ceremony cere-mony was performed by President Presi-dent Rudger Atkin, with members mem-bers of the immediate families in attendance. Parents of the popular young couple are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Rasmussen and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer El-mer Green, all of this city. That same evening the newly married couple were honored at a garden reception held at the home of the bridegroom's parents. par-ents. Attending the bride for the event were Miss Diane Rasmus-sen, Rasmus-sen, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Janet Gurr and Mrs. Adele Lovell. Miss Susan Kay Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen was junior bridesmaid and Yvette Lovell, was flower girl. Standing with the groom as best men were Jerry Mortensen and Steve Lovell. Ushers were Wayne Eyre, Ramon and Rclden Mathcson, Bill Knight and Wayne Robinson. The bride was dressed in a floor-length gown of white satin trimmed with lace, with long sleeves. Her shoulder length veil was held by a crown of seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of white glamelias and roses. The maid of honor, bridesmaids brides-maids and flower girl wore full length dresses of orange, styled with empire waistlines and each carried a single white rose. For the reception the bride's mother chose an orange print dress and the mother of the bridegroom wore a green print dress and each wore a corsage of white glamelias. Both the new Mr. and Mrs. Green graduated from Parowan High School with the class of 1965 and both have attended College of Southern Utah during the past winter. Jim recently enlisted en-listed in the U. S. Air Force and has just completed his basic training. He has now returned to his base at Sheppard Field, Tex. The bride, who has been an "A" student during the fall and winter win-ter quarter, finished the year at CSU last Friday and will probably probab-ly join her husband during the summer. MR. AND MRS.
