Show Insurance Agents Organize Hew Association j Insurance agents of Iron County Coun-ty Tuesday met to form the Iron County Insurance Agents Association, Asso-ciation, a non-profit corporation. Officers were elected and objectives ob-jectives and purposes of the organization or-ganization were set forth at the organizational meeting Named as president to serve for the first year was James Hoyle, Jr., with Tommy R. Lea-vitt Lea-vitt to serve as vice president and G. Allen Froyd named secretary secre-tary and treasurer. Three directors direct-ors were also named including Elwood Corry, Glen Froyd and Dixie Leavitt. Appointed to serve legal counsel coun-sel for the association was Or-ville Or-ville Isom, who has been charged with drawing up corporate papers pap-ers and standards. The newly elected president indicated in-dicated that the association was formed for the principal objective object-ive of providing insurance counseling coun-seling to city and county governmental gov-ernmental bodies. The need arose out of numerous requests for such an organization through complication of insurance programs pro-grams for city, county and school districts. Purpose of the association will be to provide funds for worthwhile worth-while projects and activities such as scholarships, library funds and other community betterment bet-terment programs. Funds will be derived from commissions from insurance policies pol-icies written for political subdivisions. subdi-visions.
