Show Funeral Services For Wm. B. Adams Conducted on Wed. V r, I WILLIAM B. ADAMS Funeral services for William B. Adams, 93, life-long resident of Cedar City were held Wednesday, Wednes-day, June 2 at the Cedar Fifth Ward Chapel. Adams served as the first bishop bis-hop of the Cedar Fifth Ward and was active in affairs of the LDS Church all his life. He was engaged en-gaged in farming and livestock raising most of his life. A native of Cedar City, he was born here on Oct. 22, 1872 a son of John Vorley and Mary Ann Baily Adams. He married Elizabeth Eliza-beth Bulloch on April 26, 1898 in the St. George Temple. She died Feb. 5, 1941. Speakers at the services included in-cluded James Heywood and Charles Char-les R. Hunter with remarks by Bp. Max Willis. Special musical selections included two numbers by the Singing Mothers and a vocal duet by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ho-ward Wood, "In the Garden". Burial was in the Cedar City cemetery. Adams is survived by four sons, 17 grandchildren, and 21 greatgrandchildren. |
